I have worked as a Civilian Contractor for coming up on 10 years now and the one thing I have noticed is there aren’t any tribute shirts or other items for contractors like there are for the Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy and Coast Guard. Like not even a key-ring or ball-cap [as far as I know].
Civilian Contractors have been supporting the U.S. Military since the founding of America during the War of Independence all the way up to the War in Iraq. Over the years tens of thousands of Civilian Contractors have been seriously wounded, killed, captured as Prisoners of War and Missing in Action while supporting the brave men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces.
So with the substantial help of Pimps and Mercs we have come up with a Civilian Contractor Tribute Shirt that we believe represents the contributions that Civilian Contractors have made working side by side with the U.S. Military.

Pimps and Mercs is uniquely suited to design such a shirt because it was founded by two former Civilian Contractors who worked in Iraq. So over the past few months we have been bouncing ideas back and forth until we came up with this shirt.
On the large graphic on the back it reads:
“SUPPORTING THE U.S. MILITARY FOR OVER 200 YEARS”
Encircled by some of the major wars that Civilian Contractors have participated in:
American War of Independence – War of 1812 – American Civil War – Spanish-American War – World War I – World War II – Korean War – Vietnam War – Persian Gulf War – War in Afghanistan – War in Iraq
[Those are just a small selection of the wars Civilian Contractors have participated in, but we felt those conflicts were some of the largest and most recognizable ones.]. The original list was like 60 wars long but the shirt would have to be the size of a tent to fit all that on.

Pimps and Mercs then added a cool skull, arrows and an old School looking Merc beret with a “C” [contractor] in the middle to complete this pimp-ass looking shirt. On the front is “CIVILIAN CONTRACTOR” and a smaller version of the Merc beret.
The shirt itself is a Charcoal Heather Hanes 6.1 oz 100% Ringspun Cotton Beefy-T taped shoulder to shoulder, double-needle coverseamed neck, double-needle sleeve and bottom hem [or equivalent]. Each color on the shirt is silkscreened on and put through a special dryer to cure the ink at 320°F, after that each shirt is inspected to ensure quality control.

Small through XX-Large is 27 bucks – We only have a few left over from the pre-order and we expect the to sell out fast so order soon if you want one
So if you are a current or former Civilian Contractor, have a family member who is a Civilian Contractor or you just want to show some props to the Civilian Contractors out there we invite you to pick-up one of these Civilian Contractor tribute Shirts below.
